The countdown to the one of the biggest events in the travel industry calendar is on. ITB is just two weeks away!
We are working tirelessly on making the Triptease stand — stand 100 in hall 8.1 — the place to be in Berlin and we don't think you will be disappointed.
In fact, we've gone all out this year to make sure that a visit to Triptease will not only get you the best insight on direct bookings, some classy swag and a few other treats, we're also running six illuminating workshops with some of our most valued partners.

Metasearch with Availpro
On the opening day of ITB, booking software provider Availpro (which will be at stand 138 in hall 8.1) will be joining us for a session on metasearch. Partnership Development Manager Léa Vernet will be explaining why meta generates much more than just direct bookings. She told us why she’s tackling the subject and what else she is looking forward to in Berlin.
“Metasearch has become the most important marketing channel in the hotel sector. Between 2014 and 2017, total metasearch traffic has tripled and in 2017 alone metasearch sales were due to reach $33 billion. Metasearch websites now represent a standard booking path for hotel clients.
“The advice I’d give hoteliers when it comes it to metasearch is to enable your property to appear on the likes of Google, TripAdvisor. Make it easy for users to find you when they enter queries. Put simply, you cannot afford not to be on it.
“The other topics I expect hoteliers to be talking about are local services, mobile payments, laid-back luxury, chatbots, and smart rooms. I’m most looking forward to meeting my clients personally and helping them leverage those trends!”
