You can now add images to Message Porter campaigns

Product: Message Porter - Date: Monday 26th February

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. If that’s the case then your Message Porter campaigns are about to get a whole lot more impactful - because we’ve added self-service image uploads to the Campaign Builder!

Show potential guests the view they’ll enjoy with their free welcome drink, or what kind of room upgrade you offer to guests booking more than six nights. You could upload a map to show just show close you are to the town center, or showcase a great online review. The possibilities are endless…

This is just the start of the new functionality we’ll be adding into Message Porter over the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more announcements soon. Message Porter rich text editor

Product: Message Porter - Date: Friday 16th February

We’re really happy with today’s update to Message Porter: It’s going to make your life so much easier! We’ve built a rich text editor so that you can change text alignment, add lists, and use bold, italic, underlined or coloured fonts all at the click of a button.

Previously clients needed to know some HTML and CSS in order to create campaigns with visual detail. Either that or our Customer Success Team would make the campaigns for clients, to ensure that everyone had great content on their website. However, this meant that it was harder for clients to easily edit these campaigns because they needed to understand HTML and CSS.

We could see that clients were regularly using HTML styling in their campaigns to make their messages clearer. That makes absolute sense because one of the six main factors that drives or inhibits conversion is clarity - and design impacts clarity.

We’ve built the rich text editor so you can easily use text to create campaigns that feel really clear and relevant for your guests. Minimise the time it takes for them to understand the value of booking directly on your website. Create impactful campaigns quickly and easily with no need for HTML. We can’t wait to see what you come up with.



Search dates over 28 days with Price Check

Product: Parity - Date: Monday 5th February

Price Check can now support searches of over 28 days. We wanted to make it clear that booking direct is still the best option even for longer stays. Now if a guest searches for dates longer than 28 days, the Price Check widget will appear.

Many OTAs don’t actually support booking searches over 28 days, so while they’ll still appear in the Price Check widget, they’ll display ‘No availability’ for those searches. This should hopefully make it even more likely that guests will book direct.
