About this webinar

What this session covers

Hotels spend thousands on photography, then bury their best images in a media library while the booking journey stays generic. In this session, hotel photographer Mauro Risch and Triptease Market Director AJ Shantiratnam show how to close that gap.

Drawing on more than 20 years of shoots for properties across Asia Pacific, from the Park Hyatt Sydney to a 28-room motel in regional New South Wales, Mauro breaks down which images move guests to book: hero shots, the human element, and why refreshing your gallery matters. AJ then connects the imagery to the booking journey: matching photos to guest personas, placing the right story on the right page, and, testing what converts.

What you'll learn

What you'll take away from this session

1

Start with guest personas. Understand who's browsing your website and what makes them book.

2

Audit your image library. Sort every photo by guest segment, and shoot each room two ways: a clean hero shot for OTAs, a styled version for your own website.

3

Map images to moments. Pick your top three guest segments and match photos to the pages they browse: offers, experiences, booking engine.

4

Put one story live and test it. A/B test one segment's messaging against your current pages before rolling out the rest.
